About Passwise
Passwise is a Birmingham driving school. We teach learner drivers, and we train people who want to become driving instructors. What ties the two together is the same idea: the right instructor, in the right area, at a time that genuinely works.
Most people’s experience of booking driving lessons is the same: you ring round, leave messages, and eventually someone calls back to say they might have space in a few weeks. Nobody tells you whether an instructor actually covers your street, teaches the transmission you want, or has a slot at the only time you are free.
We built Passwise the other way round. Our instructors tell us which postcodes they cover, which hours they work and what they teach. When you send a request, we check it against that data before anyone is proposed to you — and your instructor has to accept before anything is confirmed.
The same approach applies to our instructor training. We deliver the practical, in-car work: driving to ADI Part 2 standard, teaching to Part 3 standard, and the ongoing support that keeps qualified instructors sharp. We do not sell Part 1 theory courses, because that is not where our trainers add value.

Instructors choose their patch
Our instructors set the areas, hours and transmissions they teach. That is why our coverage answers are reliable.
Preferences taken seriously
Language, instructor preference and accessibility needs all feed into matching. If we cannot meet one, we say so up front.
